The Challenge
Morris Homes partnered with Bolland & Co who took over their website from an incumbent agency in order to take their digital offering to the next level. They needed their website to reflect the quality and beauty of the homes they develop, all whilst keeping a strong focus on functionality and customer experience to improve their overall offering.
The Impact
The project team at Bolland & Co took to the challenge immediately, auditing the current website ecosystem and evaluating how the look and feel could be transformed with a focus on customer service and digital to physical experience.
They began by enacting a series of discovery workshops in order to establish which areas of the client’s offering could be enhanced to maximise potential quick wins for the business. By doing so, Bolland & Co were able to identify areas that could benefit from visual, functional and user journey improvements that would benefit the customers experience while using the site.
After implementing changes, the web ecosystem became more purposeful, more user friendly and more dynamic.
As well as continued and ongoing developmental support, Bolland & Co created a custom ‘brochure download’ functionality to encourage customers to simply download website content into a digestible PDF for easy reading, as well as enhancing their advanced search function to make finding developments and new homes even easier for Morris Homes’ potential buyers.
The Results
Working alongside the in-house marketing team at Morris Homes, Bolland & Co have continued to provide analytics insight including custom reporting systems, as well as advanced CMS, Rightmove and CRM integrations that unite the website from both sides, improving internal usability and allowing the teams at Morris Homes to track critical marketing progress and impact.
The results of the partnership have been an on-going success. By making improvements to functionality and design, Morris Homes’ website now offers a sleek and operative user journey.
