Bolland & Co were approached by Quest to provide an updated and revamped student accommodation platform for their halls of residence.
The existing platform was failing to meet the clients needs. It was essential to ensure a fully functioning platform to enhance their current operations but also to protect the safety and welfare of their students.
The Impact
To deliver on the client’s challenge, the team at Bolland & Co first began with a full audit of their existing technology. Fundamental for this project was to gauge a detailed understanding of the day-to-day operational requirements of the halls of residence, as well as comprehensive knowledge of the unique needs of the students.
They worked alongside Quest Professional to improve and update the platform, and develop a student pre-booking accommodation system, with the following functionality:
- Fault reporting and logging for each room within the halls of residence
- Parcel logging
- Tracking for outstanding payments
- Document storage
The initial launch saw a scaled-back version of the platform tested until a full rollout was implemented.
The Results
Bolland & Co’s ongoing collaborative relationship with Quest has resulted in a fully functioning management portal that has dramatically increased operational efficiency, as well as ensured key aspects of student welfare are maintained.
