Tell us a bit about yourself
I was born in India, raised in Warrington, previously lived in Manchester, and I now live in Liverpool! I studied Biomedical Sciences at the University of Chester and, more recently, studied Full Stack Web Development at the Code Institute. In my spare time, I love nothing more than relaxing at home with my fiancee and our fur baby (dog), watching box sets.

Why did you want to get into your job role as a developer?
I implemented Case Management Systems in two of the companies I previously worked in. This peaked my interest to learn how the systems were built, which lead me to study Web Development. The appeal about development for me is being able to solve problems by creating bespoke systems, using just words and symbols to code it!

What are your hobbies, passions and dreams?
I love food, football and watching films and box sets. I’m also a huge Disney fan, and my dream is to live in Orlando (maybe one day in the distant future).

What appealed to you about Bolland & Co and what are you looking forward to?
I love the fact that Bolland & Co is a family run company, which really creates a family-like atmosphere within the team. I’m really looking forward to work on a diverse range of projects and developing my skills as a developer.

What advice would you give to someone looking to get into developing?
Be prepared to work hard and consistently push yourself out of your comfort zone to learn new things. The technology landscape is also rapidly evolving, so keep your knowledge fresh.
